North Wales Tour: Match vs Porthmadog GC

Porthmadog GC, Club House, Fford Morfa Bychan, Porthmadog, LL49 9UU

There are certainly features of today’s course that have all the hallmarks of classic Braid design such as Par 3s that play in four different compass directions and bunkers such as those on the 11th and 12th holes. It is a traditional links course, friendly, challenging and not to be missed. The front nine is predominantly heathland and the back nine links, with stunning views of the Cardigan Bay coastline and Snowdonia mountain range.

Meet in golf attire at 9.15am. The format of the day will be a Four Ball Better Ball Match. Tee times from 10.00am. The event fee is £60 to include golf, after-match drinks and a 2-course meal. Pre-match refreshments at members’ own cost. The event is limited to 12 golfers. Dress code smart casual.
