SUMMARY:The Shropshire Tour: Match vs Oswestry GC
DESCRIPTION:Originally Oswestry GC was sited in Llanymynech before moving to Aston Park where\, in 1929\, James Braid was invited to lay out an 18-hole course. Play began in 1931\, the course measured 6040 yds and apart from moving the 2nd tee\, it is virtually unchanged. \nSet in the glorious Shropshire countryside\, with a friendly welcome\, the mature parkland course is well suited to players of all abilities. With good tees\, beautiful fairways and quality greens\, and being designed by James Braid – who is renowned for his two tier greens\, Oswestry is a truly special place to play golf.  Its excellent drainage is ideal for all year round play. \nMatch v Oswestry GC.
