South East Tour

The South East Tour matches versus Walton Heath GC on 27th October and North Hants GC on 28th October were the last events in 2021. It was fourth time lucky to be able to play these wonderful courses – with bad weather and the pandemic leading to frustrating cancellations and postponements previously. And now we are ready, owards to the 1st tee.

The following day the same 16 strong team gathered at North Hants GC. The approach was a little more structured: JBGS members were spotted practising their putting and warming up in the nets.

Then there was the more casual approach to the preparation: relax and observe the opposition teeing off, or just standing around chatting about – well what were they chatting about? Who knows!

Chatting by the first tee seemed to be the theme of the day.

Then it was the ladies turn to gather at the first tee.

Not really – I know you didn’t think they were really in the trees.
They were seen through the trees teeing off on the 13th!
