Finally we are here at Brora altogether again from all corners of the world after 3 years. Click here for the Captain’s Report of The Highland Tour.

A welcome was sent out to Captain Barrie:

Day 1 June 21st – the long-awaited match against Fortrose and Rosemarkie at Brora GC finally begins.
Following the Captain out, in no particular order were:

The result, as always inconsequential, was a 10-5 win by Fortrose and Rosemarkie – another win even without their home advantage this time.

Day 2 June 22nd – was supposed to be a rest day. But it was spent variously at Reay, Bonar Bridge and Tain GCs.

Day 3 June 23rd – the match against Royal Dornoch GC for The Friendship Trophy.

Alison C, Rosemary, K J and Fran

We were overcome by good golf and local knowledge and The Friendship Trophy remained firmly in the hands of Royal Dornoch Golf Club (8 – 4). But what a good time was had by all, thank you Royal Dornoch.

Day 4 June 24th – the finale, The Founding Meeting followed by dinner in The Garden Room at The Royal Marine Hotel and the prize giving.

On the course, and then all scrubbed up.

And before you go, a last few shots of the fun and friendship that was shared during the 2022 Highland Tour.

One final lasting image.

Farewell Brora, what a wonderful time we had, until 2023, stay well and keep safe.
